Yoga for Beginners: an online one-month yoga program
10 hours of instruction for $50
January 17 – February 11, 2021
From the comfort and convenience of your own home, spend this month with Trax Yoga instructor, Pipps, as she leads you through all the basics of yoga!
Starting on Sunday, January 17th, you will meet three times a week in the online Facebook group designated below.
Pipps will give lectures, share resources, instruct yoga poses, and answer all your questions throughout this program, fully preparing you to be comfortable and confident with your yoga practice whether at home or in a public studio.

Sarah will spend time breaking down the mechanics of popular arm balances such as Flying Pigeon, Crow, and Side Crow in this fun and challenging workshop!
While strength is an obvious component of arm balances, what is often overlooked is the flexibility required, both physically and mentally, to come into and sustain these postures with ease. If you can support a healthy plank pose or Chaturunga, you can begin to explore the nuances of arm balancing! You will come away with a variety of techniques that can be woven into future practices.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience! Whether you are curious (or fearful) about arm balancing or regularly balance on your hands, come build and refine your skills to take your practice to a new level!

Anyone you see practicing in any yoga studio, balancing on their hands or positioning themselves in the bendiest shapes were once, a first time yogi. Many of them probably couldn’t touch their toes when they first began!
But something moved them to investigate yoga further – whether it was too much stress, looking to gain flexibility, needing to lose weight, strengthen or tone muscle, taking time for self, perhaps seeking a new beginning, or simply, curiosity about all the fuss surrounding this practice.
Whatever the reason, that’s all it takes—a simple step to commit to just TRY it and see how it fits your body. Once you are done with this hour and a half workshop, we hope you feel more comfortable and confident on your mats and at TRAX Yoga.

Curious about yoga? Want to know more before taking a class? Just looking to grow your practice? If so, this workshop is for you! This relaxed hour and a half workshop will cover the basics of a traditional yoga class, in a friendly welcoming environment. Together we will go over common poses, what they should look like vs. what feels best for your body, breath work, modifications to make your practice work best for you, as well as tips and tricks for balance poses and answer any questions. Once you have completed this workshop, you will feel more comfortable and confident with your practice and on your mat!
